I'm rooting for toolkit.snd.org to be the go-to resource. Places I keep my ear to the ground:
• Smashing Magazine
• A List Apart
• creativepro.com/

I remember reading about the first version of ReportingOn on <a href="http://ryansholin.com">your blog</a>.

In addition to the sites already listed, I'd also suggest:
<ul>
<li><a href="http://www.editorandpublisher.com/eandp/departments/online/index.jsp">E&P's Online department</a></li>
<li><a href="http://www.journerdism.com">Journerdism</a></li>
<li><a href="http://www.mashable.com">Mashable</a></li>
<li><a href="http://www.readwriteweb.com">ReadWriteWeb</a></li>
</ul>

Heh, so HTML doesn't work, but Joey made something work, eh?

* Is it asterisks?
* Is it really?
* Maybe it's markdown?

Yup, it's just the • character :)

On a mac that's alt-8. It's my go-to awkward finger stretch on a keyboard :)

My Google Reader has been neglected for a long time, mostly because I follow so many other journalists/innovators on Twitter that chances are if it's worth seeing I'll see it pop up in my Twitter stream.

If you're wondering who to follow, AdAge had a post recently on the media folk to follow... http://adage.com/mediaworks/article?article_id=... and a second post, which wisely includes Ryan: http://adage.com/mediaworks/article?article_id=...

That's a great base, but branch out. Find some other reporters on your beat in a different community or people who hold jobs you'd like to have or people you'd love to work for some day. See who they're following, retweeting or replying to and follow them too.
